Cacapon Resort State Park not only offers ideal family get-aways, but also a place to relax and enjoy while attending a business meeting, conference or seminar.  There are five (5) separate meeting rooms available to be reserved.  Not only do you get the family atmosphere of a state park, but also the professional capabilities and furnishings of a new conference facility.

Cacapon Resort State Park is the ideal setting for a wedding ceremony and reception. If an outside wedding is in your plans we offer a beautiful gazebo located in the center of our park. If a lakeside wedding is on your mind we have a shelter located by the lake. Both your wedding ceremony and reception can be by the lake. After an outside ceremony guests may then move to our conference / banquet room for the reception located in the lodge with seating up to 200 people.

GEORGE WASHINGTON & LORD FAIRFAX ROOM

These rooms are located adjoining one another and can be used as one large meeting space.  The parameters for this room are 67.6 x 42.6 feet with a maximum seating capacity of 200 people.
Separting the rooms allows seating for up to 72 people.

Full day and half day rental rates are available.

DANIEL MORGAN ROOM

This is a smaller meeting space with parameters of 38.6 x 27.6 feet accommodating up to 50 people.

CONFERENCE ROOM

The Conference Room is located downstairs in the main lodge.  This room is 45 x 43 feet and can accommodate up to 150 people.  

CLUB ROOM

The Club Room downstairs of the main lodge.  It's parameters are
18 x 45 feet with the capability to accommodate up to 50 people.

THE BATH HOUSE

The Bath House offers a great setting for all occassions. It's parameters are
76 x 20 feet with the capability to accommodate up to 86 seats for a banquet setting.

Restaurant

The restaurant, located in the lodge, offers a variety of delectable menu selections.  It is open year round and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The restaurant can cater to banquets, receptions and barbeques for special groups such as business meetings, family reunions and weddings.

Picnic Shelters

Cacapon State Park offers four reservable shelters.  Three shelters, the Boat Dock Shelter, CCC Shelter, and Gazebo are located in the picnic area and one, the Batt Picnic Shelter is further up the mountain.  Each is an ideal location for group functions, barbeques, reunions and family gatherings.  

Gift Shops

The gift shop in the lodge offers numerous selections of unique items crafted locally and throughout West Virginia.  The lodge gift shop is open daily, year round,  within the gift shop you'll find a variety of jewelry, knickknacks, t-shirts, West Virginia glass and other items.  The golf pro shop also has a bountiful selection of items such as t-shirts and hats.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Cacapon Mountain Overlook

Just a short drive up the rugged Cacapon Mountain guests can enjoy an outstanding view of the valley below beholding Cacapon State Park.  The overlook is accessible by vehicle May through October.  Adventurous hikers can access this view year round.

Prospect Peak Scenic Overlook: now known as the Panorama Overlook

This overlook is  easily accessible by vehicle off the park on Route 9 where there is a roadside pull off. Once visited frequently by George Washington this headland overlooks the Potomac and Great Cacapon Valleys and three states;  WV, PA, MD.
